My Whole 30 Meals

There are many Whole 30 compliant meals. These are some of the recent ones that I have enjoyed. The meal in bold was my favorite. The meal in italics was the lowest in calories.

Steak and Potatoes

A ribeye, sous vide to medium rare with butter and rosemary, garlic mashed potatoes with ghee and coconut milk, and roasted brussels sprouts.

Pro-tip:

Putting the butter in the bag cold with the steak makes it easier to vacuum seal.

For more info on how to sous vide a steak, see Kenji's guide on Serious Eats.

Carnitas with Roasted Cauliflower

Carnitas made in the Instant Pot, roasted cauliflower with lime and cilantro, and homemade guacamole.

Pro-tip:

After cooking and shredding the carnitas, crisp them in the broiler to get the perfect texture.

Soft-Boiled Egg Salad

A salad of arugula, carrot straws, blanched broccolini, two 7-minute soft-boiled eggs, and fresh cracked pepper.

Pro-tip:

Don't boil your eggs, steam them. You'll get more consistent results. Also be sure to dunk them in ice water for a minute after you cook them. It'll make it easier to remove the shell.

If this is too dry for you or you don't like soft-boiled eggs, use hard-boiled eggs and get some TessaMae's Ranch Dressing, which is delicious.
